Lightly USED Saddle FOR SALE

This is a very lightly used saddle that I built, and it is currently offered For Sale. I have been riding this one some myself, and will continue to do so until it is sold. This is a Ranch Versatility, finished seat length of 15 3/4". I built this one on a rawhide covered tree, with an Olin Young style swell, 13" wide. As usual, Herman Oak leather, and genuine sheepskin lining. The cantle is 3 1/2" high, and the horn is a #4 Texas Dally. The rawhide braided swells are stamped in an old tyme geometric pattern, as well as the rear housing and stirrup leathers. The balance of the saddle is rough out. Dropped plate rigging in 7/8ths position, Jeremiah Watt hardware. Gullet is 6 1/2" wide by 8" high, Quarter Horse bars. this saddle will be a good fit on 85% of the stock horses being ridden today. A great saddle for all manner of ranch work, competing in ranch/stock horse events, or simply enjoying a good ride. Comes complete with full length latigo tie straps both sides, and flank cinch. This is a nice used saddle that I am currently offering for sale. It was made by me in my shop, and I have been using it as one of my personal saddles. Finished seat length of 16 1/4" , Low Modified Association . Wood post horn 2 3/4" high, 4" Guad cap. Handmade Tree by Jon Watsabaugh, 93 degree bars, gullet is 6 3/4" wide by 7 1/2" high. Full Quarter Horse bars. Dropped plate rigging in 7/8ths position, Jeremiah Watt hardware, Herman Oak leather. This saddle fits a variety of horses well, but especially on those broad shouldered, full ribcaged horses many are riding now days. It really sits down on a horse right, and would not be for sale except it is just too big for me. Comes complete with full length latigos both sides, and flank cinch. Lightly Used Wade FOR SALE- SOLD Thank You

This is a very nice Wade that I built in my shop. It has been ridden lightly, and is in very good condition. It has a deep comfortable 16" seat. This one is built on a handmade Wade tree by Jon Watsabaugh. 90 degree bars, 4" handhole width, 6 1/4" gullet width, 7 1/2" gullet height. It is a good fit on probably 85% of the stock type horses being riddent today. The horn is 2 3/4" tall, with a 4" Guad shaped cap. The cantle is 3 1/2" high. Flat Plate rigged between 3/4 and 7/8 position for a great fit on many horses. The fork, horn cap, riggings and rear jockeys are stamped in a geometric pattern. The balance of the saddle is rough out. Made using #1 Herman Oak leather, and Jeremiah Watt Horseshoe Brand Hardware through out. The price is $2250,which includes shipping in the continental US. Just finished this saddle in the shop yesterday, for Mike Todd of Wichita, KS. Mike chose a Ranch Versatility with a Buster Welch Roper tree, Dropped Plate Rigging, 3/4 Geometric Stamp, and #7 Texas Dally Horn. The Cantle Plate was made by Jayson Jones. This one is built on a Buster Welch Roper/ Ranch Versatility style tree by Ray Lewis, and would be great for all manner of Ranch work, Ranch Horse Competitions, or just enjoying the ride. I have incorporated the best features of cutting, reining and roping saddles into this design in order to make it a truly versatile rig. Finished seat size of 16 1/4", the fork, stirrup leathers and rear jockeys are tooled in geometric pattern, with sunburst border. The balance of the saddle is rough out. Built with #1 Herman Oak leather and Jeremiah Watt Horseshoe Brand hardware. Dropped plate rigging in 7/8 postition, Exposed stirrup leathers, Loop Seat and Straight Cantle Binding. Texas Dally Horn 3 1/4" tall, with mulehide wrap. Gullet measurements are 6 3/4" wide by 8" tall, Full Quarter Horse bars. This saddle will be a good fit for many of the stouter, broader backed stock horses today. Comes with full length latigo tie straps on both sides, flank cinch, ready to ride. New Wade Saddle FOR SALE - SOLD


I finished this one up in the shop a couple of weeks ago. We are currently riding this saddle on an occasional basis. This is the time of year when we are getting some colts started and need an extra saddle once in a while. It rides great, is not hurt in any way, and no where near even broke in yet. Basically a New saddle with few rides on it.

This one is a Wade, built on a hand made tree by Jon Watsabaugh, with 90 degree bars, 4"hand hole width, gullet is 6 1/4" wide by 7 1/2" tall. Finished seat length is 16", with an inlaid padded seat. Dropped Flat Plate rigging in 7/8ths position, the horn is 2 3/4" tall, with a 4 1/2" Guad style cap. The cantle is 3 1/2" high. #1 Herman Oak Leather and Jeremiah Watt Horseshoe Brand hardware. the exposed stirrup leathers, rear jockeys, fork and horn cap are stamped, the balance of the saddle is rough out. Comes complete with full length latigo tie straps on both sides, mule hide horn wrap, lined flank billets and flank cinch. Your Choice of Stirrups........either the 4" Bells shown in one photo, or the 2" polished aluminum Visalias in the other photos. All you need to add is your favorite front cinch, your horse and blanket. A matching Martingale style Breast Collar is available for an additional $165. This saddle will be a good fit on many ranch and performance horses with good withers,and that are not overly fat or broad. Price is $2950 including shipping. I have incorporated the best features of cutting, reining and roping saddles into this design in order to make it a truly versatile rig. With a finished seat size of 16 ", the fork and rear jockeys are tooled in daisy/geometric pattern, with sunburst border. The balance of the saddle is rough out, tooled with matching sunburst border. This saddle also features a padded inlaid seat. Built with #1 Herman Oak leather and Jeremiah Watt Horseshoe Brand hardware. Dropped plate rigging in 7/8 postition, Exposed stirrup leathers and Straight Cantle Binding. Gullet measurements are 7" wide by 8" tall, Full Quarter Horse bars. This saddle will be a good fit for many of the stouter, broader backed stock horses today. This rig comes with a matching Martingale style breast collar, full length latigo tie straps on both sides, 4" wide flank cinch, ready to ride. All you need to do is add your favorite front cinch. If ordered from me on a custom basis, this saddle would be well over $3000, but it can be yours today for $2600, plus KS sales tax if in state.
